Tundra is Canada’s oldest children’s book publisher, founded in 1967 by May Cutler, a Montreal-based writer and editor, and the first woman to publish children's books in Canada.

Tundra is renowned across North America and the world for its beautifully illustrated, award-winning books. They publish primarily for young readers, in a wide range of categories: board books, picture books, chapter books, graphic novels, illustrated nonfiction and middle-grade fiction. Tundra is the home of many accomplished writers and illustrators from Canada, and with its literary merit and striking art and design, their carefully curated list stands out on bookshelves.
