About Maison Rue

Maison Rue is a non-toxic, eco-friendly line of products for the whole family. Their mission is to create high-quality products that don't sacrifice the health of your family or the planet. Inspired by Nordic design, Maison Rue products are clean, minimal, durable & functional.

They greatly value children's safety, so each product is tested using the most stringent standards. Maison Rue products contain no BPA, Phthalates, Lead, Cadmium, Formaldehyde, fillers or petroleum-based chemicals. Their mealtime products are made with 100% food-grade silicone. Silicone is a non-toxic polymer made from silica (sand). It can withstand heating and freezing without leaching toxic chemicals, microplastics or contaminating food. 

They're dedicated to reducing their carbon footprint through sustainable business practices. Their first step is using biodegradable, compostable, reusable, or recycled materials for all packaging. 

Maison Rue was founded by a mom with a degree in early childhood education and 10 years of experience in the e-commerce / retail industry, so she understands the needs of both parents and children. The Maison Rue concept was created from a desire to find aesthetically pleasing children's products that didn't compromise function, safety, health or the planet. Tired of seeing baby products that were too bright or potentially toxic she set out to create what she couldn't find locally. Maison Rue is influenced by the simplicity, cleanliness and sustainable aspects of Nordic Design. We're also influenced by European standards when it comes to compliance, testing, heavy metals and the safety of products intended for children.
