About Galison
Galison was founded in 1979 to work with museums to make artist imagery widely available in the form of well-designed paper products. Galison first published calendars and a few books before focusing primarily on fine art stationery, boxed notecards, greeting cards, and journals. During this time the company was known as Galison Books.
In 2012, Galison was acquired by The McEvoy Group, a media company based in San Francisco that includes Chronicle Books and Princeton Architectural Press.
With new collections each year, Galison keeps growing in both size and the scope of its product ranges, including creative home office products, and innovative puzzles and games. Their vision is to inspire people to add more art into their lives in forms of home decor, stationery, desk accessories, and puzzles.
They are proud to have the opportunity to work with and express art together with many known and unknown artists such as Andy Warhol, Keith Haring, Frank Lloyd Wright, and many more. They love discovering new artists and work hard to create a wide range of designs that can be used every day.
They are a small hardworking team of 25 based in New York City.
