About City Mouse
City Mouse Studio is one of those inspiring stories about Creative Entrepreneurs that evolve with their “art” and business as they recognize customers needs. Based in Seattle, the Aussie-born founder Donna DeRousie, came to the US when she married her husband. As a photographer, she started City Mouse as a portrait studio. She began to notice that busy parents often would come unprepared and need special outfits for their kids’ photo shoots... so she started offering some clothing and accessories to help out stressed parents and her studio gradually turned into a children’s clothing boutique. Then as the boutique grew, she was inspired to design her own line when she couldn’t find exactly what she wanted from other designers. She favors all natural and organic fabrics and classic basics AND really affordable prices!
