Siaomimi is created by Hilda Yim, a ‘92 graduate of Parsons School of Design. She worked for Anna Sui and DKNY before moving back to Hong Kong where she introduced her own successful womenswear label Shopaholic.

In 2006, Hilda’s daughter Charisse was born, and was soon nicknamed ʻSiaomimi” by her first Chinese nanny.

Hilda became so inspired by the whole experience that she began designing children's wear. Her collection reveals the quality of childrenʼs innocence and simplicity, but with strong individual character. All the prints are inspired by her childhood memories and are exclusively hand block printed for the collection. She also loves creating nice subtle details in her designs, like applying handmade or crafty work. Quality is also very important to the collection, using only the finest cotton or cotton wool.
