About Hansel from Basel
Hansel from Basel socks, tights, and leggings transform the mundane into the magical. Los Angeles-based artist-turned-designer Hannah Byun created her line of brightly bold apparel in 2007 as a way to add a little zest to everyday legwear. Inspired by Hannah’s childhood nickname (“Hansel”) and her fascination with Switzerland (“from Basel”), Hansel from Basel has a free-spirited, playful feel with a simple, yet impactful aesthetic.
